Get up and running in minutes
This guide walks you through creating your account, connecting your first channel, setting up an AI provider, and configuring Cleo's personality. You'll be chatting with your assistant in under 10 minutes.
Create your account
Sign up using magic link authentication - no password required.
Navigate to the login page
Visit cleo.ai/login and enter your email address. Click "Send magic link" and check your inbox.
Click the link in your email
Open the email from Cleo and click the verification link. You'll be signed in automatically and redirected to your dashboard.
Connect your first channel
Link Telegram, Discord, or another supported channel so you can start chatting with Cleo.
Generate a pairing code
From your dashboard, navigate to the Channels section. Click "Add Channel" and select Telegram. A unique 6-digit pairing code will be generated.
Open Telegram and find the bot
Open Telegram and search for @iamcleo_ai_bot. Start a chat and send your pairing code as the first message.
Configure your AI provider
Add an API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or another supported provider.
Option 1: Through the dashboard
Go to Settings → AI Provider. Select your provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), paste your API key, and choose a model. Click "Save" to apply.
Option 2: Through chat
Message Cleo directly on Telegram and ask her to configure your API settings. She'll walk you through it.
Customize Cleo's personality
Shape her name, tone, response style, and behavior through conversation.
Just ask in plain English
Tell Cleo how you want her to behave. She updates her own configuration in real time based on your preferences.
